Excavator Accident
Hagen-Hohenlimburg – Excavator overturned in river Lenne – Heavy Recovery of the excavator took the whole day. During construction work on the wild water park in Hohenlimburg in Hagen, an excavator overturned in the Lenne in the morning and was largely under water.
Fire service divers attached steel cables to the wrecked excavator. At around 5 p.m., the recovery by means of a heavy-duty crane was completed. In addition to the professional fire brigade, all units of the Hohenlimburg volunteer fire brigade were deployed. Oil barriers were put in place. People were not harmed
